SANJOSE Portugal will refurbish and remodel the complex built around the Convento do Beato de Lisboa for residential purposes

Beato Lux has awarded SANJOSE Constructora Portugal Stage II of the joint refurbishment works around the Convento do Beato in Alameda do Beato, Lisbon.

The project, with a built surface of more than 15,000 square meters, will involve the construction of a new building and sundry works in another already existing 5 floors for luxury residential use (61 homes) and four commercial premises.

The works to be carried out also include the creation of a central square with large green spaces, which will be surrounded by residential buildings, and a new two-story underground car park.

SANJOSE Constructora Portugal also carried out Stage I of the project, which mainly involved the partial demolition of a group of buildings and the execution of works on another car park, which meant the first construction of this unique global refurbishment project.
