SANJOSE Will build Fuente Lucha Habitat Node Forest Park in Alcobendas, Madrid

The Alcobendas City Council has awarded SANJOSE Constructora, in a joint venture with El Ejidillo Viveros Integrales, the contract for the execution of the “Project for the Restoration Works of Fuente Lucha Forest Park – Habitat Node, Alcobendas.”

 

The project entails the creation of a new forest park on the grounds of a former inert waste landfill. It will span 185,000 square meters and become a major green lung for the area, promoting both plant and animal biodiversity. The intervention will enhance the current landscape through the addition of herbaceous substrates, shrubs, bushes, and trees, serving as a significant carbon sink.
