SANJOSE will build Terminal H for MSC Cruises in the Port of Barcelona

MSC Barcelona Terminal has awarded SANJOSE Constructora the execution works under the LEED Gold certification of more than 55,000 meters of constructed surface that will be the new Terminal H for MSC Cruises passengers on the Port of Barcelona dock.

The new and sustainable port infrastructure, which occupies a plot of 42,560 square meters and includes both the Terminal Building and the urbanization, is divided into 3 main zones: arrival/departure zone corresponding to a large development for parking, taxi area, buses, etc.; the second zone (next to the sea, docking front of the cruise ships) which corresponds to a connecting walkway between the building and the ships (through some 'fingers'); and the third zone, the Terminal Building itself with horizontal and rectangular geometry that rises on 2 floors connected by mechanical ramps and lifts.

The project has been designed by RBTA, TYPSA as collaborator in facilities and structures and CBRE as Project Manager.
