SANJOSE will build the new Lugo Station

Adif has awarded SANJOSE Constructora the execution works for the new Lugo railway station, a project that will be developed using BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology and will involve global action on the surroundings of the current railway station.

Among the main works to be carried out are a new passenger building with a new pedestrian crossing between platforms, a new city pedestrian underpass that connects the city to both sides of the railway canal, the demolition of the Post Office building and existing warehouses, a new urban plaza and the urbanization of the surroundings of the new station and the new city crossing and the adaptation of the existing canopies to the future needs of the station.
