SANJOSE will build the 142.42 MW solar plant at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas International Airport

Aena has awarded SANJOSE Constructora the contract for the construction of the new solar plant at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid - Barajas International Airport, which will have a total installed capacity of 142.42 MW.

 

This plant, which will occupy an area equivalent to 353 football fields located in different plots within the airport grounds, will have more than 235,000 photovoltaic modules that will generate 212 GWh of energy per year, which is the average consumption of 65,000 homes per year.
