SANJOSE will execute Stage I of the University Hospital Complex of Ferrol, A Coruña

The Axencia Galega de Infraestructuras, entity dependent on the Xunta de Galicia, has awarded SANJOSE Constructora, in JV with Acciona and Prace, the execution of stage I of the University Hospital Complex of Ferrol, A Coruña.

The works of Stage I, which represent an approximate built surface of 35,000 square meters, consist of the refurbishment and expansion of the existing buildings (Naval Hospital and Marcide Architect Hospital), increasing the number of beds by 25%, external consultations in a 27%, the operating rooms in a 33% as well as the space devoted to emergencies, and inpatient stay and housing the new facilities, management and administration services.

This new Master Plan launched by the Xunta, designed to be carried out in three stages, will involve the definitive integration of the architect Marcide, Naval and Novoa Santos public hospitals.
