SANJOSE will carry out the electrical installations of three wind farms (36.9 MW) in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Lopesan has awarded SANJOSE Constructora the execution works for the electrical installations of the Montaña de Arinaga, Santa Lucía del Mar and Espinales wind farms in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Between the three farms there are 36.9 MW of power and 41 wind turbines. The wind turbines will be connected to each other by means of an internal ring medium voltage network that in turn will connect them to the manoeuvring and control centre located in a room dedicated for this purpose in the new Arinaga Mountain Substation. From this room, it will be connected by means of a 20 kV line with the protections of the substation's 20/66 kV transformer, from which a 66 kV underground line will depart, connecting it with the REE Arinaga substation.
