GENERAL BELGRANO WATER TREATMENT PLANT IN BUENOS AIRES (ARGENTINA)

This is an important engineering project, with a built Surface amounting to 40,000 sqm, which will make it possible to bring drinking water to the population of the metropolitan area of Buenos Aires.

 

The contract consists of the Design and Execution of the Enlargement Works of the General Belgrano Water Treatment Plant, which will be carried out in the plot of land adjacent to the current plant. i The contract consists of the Design and Construction of the Extension Works of the General Belgrano Water Treatment Plant, which will be carried out in the lands adjacent to the current plant. This one is located in the city of Bernal, party of Quilmes.

 

The objective is to cover an additional daily flow of treated water of 1,000,000 m3 / day, increasing the plant's current water production from 1,950,000 m3 / day to a maximum of 2,950,000 m3 / day, which will give service to more than 12 million inhabitants. It is located in the city of Bernal, at Quilmes district.

 

The purpose of the enlargement works is to produce an additional daily flow of treated water of 1,000,000 m3/day, increasing the plant's current water production from 1,950,000 m3/day to a maximum of 2,950,000 m3/day, providing water supply services to more than 12 million inhabitants.

 

This project is one of the largest water projects developed in the district and involves an investment of more than 130 million dollars, to be financed by the national state and the Latin American Development Bank (CAF).
