The development of this infrastructure is essential for the region and has a strategic importance. It is located in the southern part of Uttar Pradesh, the most populous state in India with a population of over 200 million inhabitants. It connects Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, situated in the Centre of the country, and intersects with National Highway NH-24B which connects Lucknow and Allahabad, the two most important cities of the State.
