SANJOSE will carry out Stage I of the access to Lloseta from the MA-13 in Palma de Mallorca

The Consell of Mallorca has awarded SANJOSE Constructora stage I of the access to Lloseta from the MA-13 in Palma de Mallorca. The improvement of the connection of the Municipality of Lloseta will also entail works that will improve the safety of the existing roads as it will avoid or reduce the circulation of heavy traffic through the urban area of Binissalem through the MA-13a coming from the Lloseta industrial estate. Attached to MA-2111, road safety will be improved at the current T intersection of MA-2111 and MA-13a, and road MA-13a and MA-2111 will also be improved.

The new link "type weights" to be executed at kilometer 22 + 150 of the ME-13 (Inca highway), consists of two entrances and two exits on said road. Two roundabouts will be executed on each side of the highway, one just before the Forum of Mallorca, which will improve the intersection making it safer. Between the two roundabouts a bridge will be built that will pass over the highway.

On the other hand, the MA-2111 road will also be improved, which goes from the Forum of Mallorca to the overpass of the Lloseta train tracks. The MA-13a road, between Binissalem and the roundabout that will be before the Forum of Mallorca will also be prepared.

Throughout the project there will be a walk of 2.50 meters, separated from the road with a wooden barrier and with trees on the other side. In addition, the width of the shoulders will be extended to 1.80 meters to provide greater safety to cyclists.
